Who We Are And Are Not

The Rock of Israel is not an evangelical organization such as "Jews for Jesus", "Chosen People Ministries" or any of the other evangelical organizations that exist today. While we believe that evangelism is the responsibility of every follower of Yeshua, and we have congregants that are gifted in evangelism. The Rock of Israel is a Messianic Congregation: meaning we are a congregation of Jews and Gentiles who have come together to worship Yeshua (Jesus) the Messiah of Israel in a manner that reflects the Jewish roots of our constituency and the Jewish roots of our faith as followers of Yeshua. We believe Yeshua taught that relationships are critical in developing fellowship amongst His followers and relationships are very important to us at The Rock. Our primary concern is the personal welfare and Spiritual growth of our congregants, families, friends and visitors. Worship Services at The Rock are contemporary, consisting of Worship and Praise in Song, Prayer and Teaching. We believe that the Bible IS the written Word of God.
